Gillian Barth Gillian Barth has close to 30 years experience in the fields of human resources, international development, and program research and management. She has worked with CARE for 20 years and today serves as CARE Canada’s Executive Vice-President. Ms. Barth plays a key role in managing the organization’s strategic plan and program quality, as well as representing CARE Canada to the CARE International Federation. Earlier in her career, she worked with Global Development Group, Canadian University Services Overseas and World University Service of Canada in positions relating to long-term development programming and human resource applications, both in Canada and internationally. Ms. Barth holds a B.A. in Political Science/International Relations. |

Evelyne Guindon Evelyne Guindon is a seasoned development professional with 25 years of experience, and has worked on a broad range of initiatives in the global health and environmental sectors. She joined CARE Canada in 2011 and is responsible for securing institutional resources, and developing and managing CARE Canada’s portfolio of development projects. Previously, Ms. Guindon was Director of Resource Development and Partnerships at the Micronutrient Initiative. She has championed and led innovative cross-sectoral partnerships and has a firm belief in this approach to helping find solutions to global poverty challenges. She is a member of the Board of Directors of RESULTS Canada, the International Advisory Group of the Partnership Brokering Project and Canadian Council for International Cooperation. |

Kadry Furany
Kadry Furany has been engaged in international development for over 15 years, most of them with CARE. Mr. Furany started his career in Egypt as a Field Officer and quickly moved into higher levels of management, specializing in micro-enterprise. In 2001 Mr. Furany took a senior position with CARE in Zimbabwe and from there came to CARE Canada headquarters in Ottawa. With his expertise in small-scale economic development Mr. Furany has been much sought-after as a consultant. Under Mr. Furany, the CARE Canada International Operations department oversees the infrastructure of CARE’s Canada work around the globe, providing support both for CARE Canada’s programs and for the programs that other CARE members operate in the six countries CARE Canada manages. |

Nick Ayre
For more than 12 years, Nick Ayre has provided human resources expertise to a wide variety of international development agencies. Prior to joining CARE Canada, Mr. Ayre worked with the Canadian Red Cross, CANADEM and the Global Development Group. As Vice President of Human Resources, Mr. Ayre is not only responsible for the human resource needs of CARE’s operations in Canada, but also for all CARE Canada employees posted internationally. This includes the six country offices CARE Canada manages in Chad, Cuba, Indonesia, Kenya, Zambia and Zimbabwe. Mr. Ayre’s department also oversees the Knowledge Management system that is now used by CARE members around the world. |

Christopher Thomas
Christopher Thomas has been working as a marketer/fundraiser in the not-for-profit sector for over 16 years. Currently he is Vice President, Fundraising and Communications at CARE Canada. Prior to CARE, he spent eight years at World Vision Canada serving as a Director in all areas of marketing, including Donor Cultivation, Donor Acquisition and Relational Marketing. He has received an Honours BA in International Relations from McMaster University and an Honours Post Graduate Certificate in Public Relations from Humber College. |

Jamie Craig Jamie Craig joined CARE Canada in 2007. As the Vice President, Corporate Services, he oversees the financial management controls, risk management process and reporting mechanisms of CARE Canada. Previously, Mr. Craig was the Director of Finance for a humanitarian organization. He is currently in the process of completing his MBA at Carleton University’s Sprott School of Business. |
